My focus over the past eight years, since our son Carl was born, has been on the topic of biblical manhood (and womanhood). By focus I mean my free time, my spare study time, and my Doctor of Ministry program at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. I finally finished my thesis last spring, and I plan to continue to write on this topic here and in other places.
I would not have completed this projected and learned as much as I did, though, without the help of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and especially their seminal book, Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. It is the first and best resource to which I look for answers on specific texts and specific topics (this book is available as a pdf online from Desiring God). My first post in this catergory had to be about their organization, because of the great work they continue to do in this area. Thank you CBMW!
