I don’t often recommend contemporary Christian songs, but this one is different. “Lead Me” by Sanctus Real hits at the theme of a sermon I am preaching, a godly man leads courageously. Matt Hammitt wrote this song for his wife at a time when they were struggling because he wasn’t leading.
In the song he recites the cry of his wife and children to lead them, and his prayer that God would lead him in his leadership.
